The report presents the results of the following types of research carried out by the author: a comparative analysis of the initial data taken in the preparation of OSR maps (97, 2015, 2016); Analysis of the content of these maps to identify inconsistencies, contradictions and deviations from the basic methodology (methodological miscalculations); The impact of such errors on the final result. As a result of the research, it was concluded that consideration of the issue of replacing OCP-2015 (updated version of OCP-97) on OCP-2016 maps is premature.

Authors performed the review of the ways how the interpretation of principles of the modern seismic design codes of Russia could influence on the results of structural analysis for steel and concreate frame structures. Firstly, boundary conditions for special load combinations are demonstrated with the example of a steel industrial building. In the next place, authors describe a disputable method of unfactored loads usage in special load combinations with the example of multistory building reinforced concreate frame. For that purpose, an inquiry of the expert opinion from SRC STROITELSTVO had been made. In addition, the authoring team observes two evaluation methods for industrial seismic loads due to mining explosions: the method of equivalent earthquakes within spectrum theory and the forth integration of motion equations method for the function, that governs synchronic and asynchronic displacements of column supports.

The use of composite materials to increase the seismic stability of masonry structures of buildings during earthquakes

The experimental study on evaluation of seismic resistance of the large-scale model of a two-storey fragment of brick building from ceramic bricks on cement mortar was conduct. The dynamic testing of the prototype was carried out on the two-component vibroplatform, where seismic impacts with the intensity of 6 to 9 according to MSK-64 scale were modelled. During the tests the constant load on floors — 450 kgf / m2 was simulated using concrete blocks. The dimensions of the two-storey fragment are 2,3×1,56×3,0 m. During the tests the horizontal and vertical dynamic forces to the prototype were simulated. Different options for strengthening of load-bearing brick walls with composite fabrics, scrims and nets, produced by JSC «NTSK» were consider. Upon the nature of the hysteresis curves the zones of elastic performance of masonry walls at the moment of cracks and destruction were determined. The optimal schemes of brick walls» strengthening were propos with the use of ribbons, scrims and nets from carbon cloth. The possibility to increase the stiffness of the slabs disk with composite materials was show.
